In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the Accounts Payables. Your main tasks will be to
scan and register suppliers’ invoices in the EUMETSAT financial system (SAP), monitor invoices and prepare
payments batches at due date. You will also assist in the preparation of monthly statements and other reports
and in responding, directly and indirectly, to ad-hoc internal and external requests.
To qualify, you should have a full secondary education and proven experience in accounting, especially accounts
payable. You should also have experience in the operation of automated accounting systems and in electronic
banking. Practical experience with the Accounts Payable Module of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
system, preferably SAP, is also required. The official languages of EUMETSAT are English and French. You must
be able to work effectively in one of these languages and also have a working knowledge of the other. A working
knowledge of German would be an advantage.
Based in Darmstadt, Germany, the post is offered on an initial four-year contract. Further information on the
