Job Title:		TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT

Description:		TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT Crane Limited, a division of the Crane Co., designs, manufactures packages and markets, engineered flow control solutions for HVAC and Utility Sectors. We are now recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join our team in Ipswich, IP3 9QH. Job Summary: You will report to the Financial Controller and your primary role will be to provide information and support for the entire finance function. Principle responsibilities: • Analysis of MFG Pro IT System data to understand and explain the implications of the transactions on profit and working capital. • Reporting on daily, weekly and monthly cycles to strict deadlines, including the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack. • Reporting on both financial and management accounting issues. • Ad hoc investigative work as required by the management team. Qualifications/Experience: • You must be educated to a degree standard and actively studying for CIMA or ACCA accountancy examinations • Good written and verbal communication skills; both in English and Mandarin are essential, Cantonese is also desirable • Prior experience in a finance environment within a manufacturing company would be an advantage. • Knowledge of UK and Chinese GAAP would be very beneficial • Willing to travel internationally • Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact based decisions. Includes a strong working knowledge of IT particularly spreadsheets • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment.
