At this exciting stage in their development, which has seen a significant expansion of their business portfolio within their German operation, they now require a Finance Director, Germany, to drive major cultural change throughout the organisation. Essentially you will focus the business on key performance areas through the development and delivery of an effective framework of financial and business strategies which enable the business to maximise its full potential. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer Europe you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial performance, in addition to working closely with other members of the German senior management team in the areas of portfolio analysis, strategic value analysis and improvement of individual plant performance. The Finance Director will also be responsible for leading a team of technical accounting personnel in the delivery of effective financial reporting procedures and systems. The wide ranging, often complex and sensitive nature of the role will require a leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence people and outcomes. Ideally a Chartered or Certified Accountant, you are likely to have experience of working in an environment where demand, supply and capacity issues are critical. The position is situated in Germany, in the Hanover region, therefore you need to be open to a move to Germany and acquire German language skills if necessary.
