Job Title:UK FINANCE CONTROLLER
Description:UK FINANCE CONTROLLER - BASINGSTOKE, Hampshire A new role has been created as a result of a successful acquisition trail. The business ia a £40million division of a plc associated with the pharma / medical sector. The initial remit includes streamlining the newly acquired companies and ensure that they are successfully, and seamlessly, integrated from an accounting point of view. As such, the desired candidate should probably have had experience or exposure of pre or post acquisition. Reporting to the General Manager you should expect to become an integral part of the acquisition strategy but at the same time manage a small accounting team to ensure timely financial reporting. Strong, effective communication skills are essential to fit into this extremely ambitious and progressive organisation. You will be a qualified accountant - so technically sound - but as you will be working so close with the Gen Man a proven commercial leaning is very important.
