Sales Ledger Clerk - Chertsey, Surrey
Role Overview
An electrical company based in Chertsey is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant to join their small accounts team. You will have responsibility for updating and managing the sales ledger using Sage Line 50, will deal with all aspects of banking, including bank reconciliation, credit control, and aged debtors management, and will generate daily and monthly sales reports for the management team. The ideal candidate will have experience of filing of intrastat and EC sales online and other returns and the handling of customer queries and commission calculation/payments. You will also have involvement with purchase ledger, payroll and expenses as and when required.
Person Overview:
You will be a hands on, organised team player, with excellent IT skills and the ability to prioritise. The ideal candidate must be able to work under their own initiative, with experience in working in a similar position in a busy accounts department. You must have excellent numerical skills and a good attention to detail, with fantastic communication skills.
