Job Title:		Financial Analyst

Description:		Financial Analyst - Birmingham With a global brand boasting 3,000 stores worldwide (450 in the UK and Ireland alone, and an expanding portfolio across the rest of Europe) there’s always a new challenge to keep you interested at Claire’s. But keeping all this success going, whilst balancing the books, is anything but a small challenge. That’s why we need a team of brilliant financial minds to help us make it happen. Working in the financial team, you’ll have a varied and challenging remit, working on a number of key areas including fixed assets, rent and utilities, inter-company liaison, VAT, budgeting and forecasting and field and management reporting. Overall, you’ll provide first class assistance in the compilation of standard financial accounting information, as well as performing detailed monthly reconciliation and analysis work. And because you’ll be rotating through various different areas of the department, you’ll get an excellent overview of the business. Educated to degree level (ideally within a financial discipline) or with an accounting qualification under your belt, you’ll have experience of preparing month-end accounts and carrying out other tasks within the finance department, so you’ll know Excel like the back of your hand (Oracle financials would also be an advantage). Most of all, you’ll relish the chance to work with a friendly team in a fast-paced environment.
