This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced payroller who enjoys being involved in other accounting areas too. The Financial Controller will consider flexible working hours and applicants at all stages of their career.
Our client
They are a local business that incorporates two companies. Their finance department is five strong with two colleagues from I.T. sharing the office.
Free parking and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere makes for a superb working environment.
The role
Our client is hoping you will be able to swiftly get 'up to speed' with the small payroll using Sage. There are a minimum of ten staff to be paid weekly for both companies and then around thirty staff monthly. At the height of business you may have up to one hundred and thirty staff to pay.
The good news is that if you were to join them shortly, they are entering their quiet period which is an ideal chance to become familiar with their systems and procedures.
In addition to payroll, if you can help with the accounts production for one or both of the businesses it would be greatly appreciated and of course provide variety to your role.
Experience & skills required
Sage
Payroll experience
Accounts experience preferably
An eye for detail and common sense
