Description:		Property Services Charge Accountant - London, London Property Service Charge Accountant £35,000 to £40,000 Location: London, Paddington Date: 06/09/2007 Ref: LON5963 Temp/Perm: Permanent Our client is a foremost specialist in Block Property Management. They currently require a Service Charge Accountant. This is an extremely vital role within their property management department, bringing together all aspects of the department, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to and on behalf of our clients. Major Responsibilities: Preparation of Quarterly Client Accounts from Block Management Master System Issuing of cheque to owners Liaison with Property Managers Preparation of Service Charge Accounts from Block Management Master System Preparation of Statutory Accounts Liaison with external auditors Liaison with Clients Compliance with all Statutory Deadlines Calculation and Payment of Client Taxation Preparation of Non-Resident Taxation Returns Preparation of VAT Returns Handling financial related client correspondence Liaison with Cash and Database Management Team Liaison with Finance and Administration Team Prioritisation of workload Required Skills: Good Computer skills: Experience of Service Charge Accounting Attention to detail Excellent Communication skills at all levels Business maturity and professionalism Experience in multi-tasking, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines Open personality with a customer focused orientation and an awareness Detail-oriented and highly organised with strong commitment to task Working Knowledge of ECS would be an advantage In this key position, you will work with and support a team of 5 property managers.
