Job Title:Sales Ledger Clerk
Description:Sales Ledger Clerk - Surrey, Surrey A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a fast growing company based in Weybridge,Surrey. Your main objective is to manage and run the sales ledger system and support the credit control team. Your duties will include: Opening and distribution of post to the building Answering of the main Credit Control telephone and assisting where possible Daily visit to do banking Logging and agreeing of daily cash batches to Edp. Daily Cash Allocation for any absent Credit Controller. Inc the removal of stops where appropriate Cash allocation and Maintenance of assigned Cash Sale Accounts Allocation of BACS remittance advices and the subsequent cash posting. Receiving and logging of Credit Application forms, ready for credit assessment by the Credit Controllers. Completion and logging of BACS request forms. Issuing copy invoices & statements to customers. Follow up customers on copy invoices, including the relevant diary entries & follow ups Amendments on sales areas Quarterly deletion of unused sales ledger accounts Changing & ensuring tapes are changed on the main computer and distribution of daily reports Running end of day on streamline machine, agreeing to manual streamline sheet and subsequent filing of sheets Ad hoc duties as delegated by the Credit Manager / Senior Credit Controller The successful candidate must have relevant sales ledger experience.
