General Insurance Relationship Manager (Motor)
£25-30K, plus bonus plus company car

Our Relationship Team works in partnership with automotive companies and their dealerships to provide general insurance products to their customers. Through managing and developing these client relationships, you can help to ensure that both we and our partners achieve market leading sales penetration.
What will I be doing?
To achieve targets you will be working with the Automotive Relationship Team to:
*Forge relationships at all levels within dealerships, to gain support, leading to the growth of scheme
*Identify opportunities & processes that maximise dealer referrals
*Have a good understanding of the service & product(s) being offered to customers
*Promote & raise support for the insurance product within the dealer network
*Identify best practices and offer training across the network
*Attend a variety of client meetings to present the product(s) and results
*Manage incentive programmes
*Produce & deliver MI packs to clients
What is the job like?
In this role:
*As the job will be primarily field based, you will manage your own time across a wide geographical area. Requirement for scheme review meetings and training will also require your regular attendance at our regional office in Halifax.
*You will have a focussed approach to working in a pressurised sales environment and will enjoy the challenge of setting and achieving targets.
*Whilst your time will primarily be spent ’on the road’ and working from home, there is a team in Halifax, of which you will form a part. They will offer you ’back office’ support, training and guidance.
*You will identify the factors driving high levels of sales penetration in our client’s network and seek to replicate this across the network through training, process revisions, incentives and other aspects of best practice that you have identified
*You will be responsible for collating and reporting on sales figures including MI reporting.
What do I need to be successful in this role?
This role requires:
*A credible individual with strong business acumen and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
*A key part of this role is managing customer relationships and coaching people to improve their performance, as such you will need a proven ability to develop long-term customer relationships and deliver training packages
*You will need to be self-motivated and highly organised to manage your own time.
* Excellent negotiating & influencing skills are vital to gain commitment to, and delivery of, targets
*Personable and enthusiastic about the business, you will ensure clients are eager to engage with you to discuss business opportunities
*While experience in a similar role would be welcomed, you might be working in the financial services sector within retail, motor finance, estate agency or other similar service industries.
As your customers are within a wide geographical territory, you must hold a full driving licence valid for use in the UK.
