Up to £19,000 + medical, dental, travel insurance, 25 days holiday and non-contributory pension
Our client is a global player in the IT Services sector: their services keep people and information connected, from proactive business continuity through reactive disaster recovery to interactive high availability solutions, thereby helping over 10,000 clients worldwide have uninterrupted access to their business-critical information systems. They are looking to recruit a Contracts Accountant.
The role:
As Contracts Accountant you will ensure all Sales Contracts are properly authorised and processed in an accurate and timely manner, and the resulting revenue recognised and deferred is in line with the contract terms and conditions meeting both UK GAP and US GAAP requirements on revenue recognition.
You will also Ensure Contract and Revenue reporting meets the requirements of Senior Management specifically by site and product with variations from budgets and forecast explained in a timely manner within deadlines.
Finally you will ensure relationships and interfaces with Customer, Sales and Legal are conducive to good business practices and provides basis for improved customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Integrity and Contract processing
* Invoicing / Arrears billing
* Monthly Revenue Variations
* Contracts
* Ensure Sarbanes Oxley requirements in the Revenue area is met
* Cash Allocations where required
The ideal candidate will be educated to A level or equivalent, be computer literate and have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Advanced Excel and Power Point). You will need to be customer focused, willing to progress in a finance role, be able to deal with people at all levels, be detailed and accurate and be a team player.
