Job Title:Semi/Senior Accounts Assistant
Description:Semi/Senior Accounts Assistant - Lincoln, Newark, Sleaford, Gainsborough, Grantham, Louth, This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful accountancy practice based in Lincoln. Due to continued expansion they now seek to recruit an Semi/Senior Accounts Person to assist with the following areas if the business:- To take responsibility for the preparation of personal tax returns and sole trader accounts. You will also be required to assist senior staff in dealing with larger clients, mainly unincorporated businesses. A working knowledge of personal tax and accounts preparation is essential. The successful applicant will need to be able to work on own initiative and be able to deal directly with clients. Previous Practice experience with an accountancy is required for this position - we would welcome applicants who are qualified by experience as well as part or full AAT/ACCA trained. Salary negotiable although in the range of £16k-£20k per annum depending upon experience. Part-time & Full Time applicants will be considered applicants will be considered. Hours of work are 8.30 -5.00, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, no holidays to be taken in January. Saturday work in January is often required due to workload. A bonus for this Saturday work is paid in February. If desired, the successful candidate has the opportunity the study for ACCA.
