Job Title:Specialist Mortgage Underwriter
Description:Specialist Mortgage Underwriter - Horsham, West Sussex Job Title: Specialist Mortgage Underwriter Location: West Sussex Salary: up to £25K Basic (depending upon experience) plus bonus. A wholesale mortgage distributor is experiencing dynamic growth and is therefore looking to build its mortgage underwriting team. The successful candidates will have at least 1 year mortgage placement or underwriting experience with a lender, packager, broker or estate agency. An existing or previous underwriting mandate, along with team responsibilities, would be advantageous. The role will include gaining a solid understanding of up to 15 lender's underwriting criteria, preparing mortgage cases for offer, completion and ensuring excellent customer service. The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, a strong work ethic and the ability to interact with all levels. We are only looking for those that are dynamic, work under pressure and have a strong customer service outlook.
