Job Title:INSOLVENCY ADMINISTRATOR
Description:INSOLVENCY ADMINISTRATOR - MAIDSTONE, Kent This vacancy is within a highly professional, national financial organisation – a quality employer. Working from modern, open plan offices, you will benefit from the latest technology and the backup of a leading national business. Their internal job description reads as follows. If you have some but not all of the experience - do get in touch and we'll happily advise you if there is still the chance of being interviewed by them. Description: To perform and complete the administration of each appointment. 1. Client Contact - Occasional contact with banking clients in conjunction with managers. Contact with legal work providers in conjunction with appointees. 2. Meetings - Preparing all relevant material for meetings, collating information, producing reports, photocopying and distributing to relevant people. Preparing agendas for meetings. Attending meetings where necessary and taking minutes. Distributing minutes to those attending. 3. IPS - General operation of IPS system/data input. Printing labels, listings, schedules. Adjudication of creditor claims and production of relevant reports. 4. Technical - Perform work in accordance with the company and statutory procedures. Ensure all areas of the work are completed with any exceptions to this being agreed with the manager / appointee. Understand and appreciate key commercial aspects of the insolvent business. 5. Organisational - Provide regular progress reports to the manager / appointee including six monthly case reviews. Identify and discuss with manager / appointee issues / problems and agree and complete appropriate actions. Ensure deadlines met. Be able to work on a number of different assignments office and non-office based at one time. When reporting directly to the appointee, ensure completion of the assignment within budget / fee constraints. 6. Staff Development - Attendance on courses. Technical reading. Attend some client / work provider meetings. 7. Completing weekly time sheet. Other responsibilities: - Prioritising work tasks - Working on own initiative - No authority unless specifically delegated by client partner Study support for the CPI qualification is offered. Ideally you will have the following experience and may have started CPI or be looking ahead to JIEB study. - Knowledge of insolvency rules and statutory requirements - Ability to work well in a pressured environment with the ability to prioritise work - Quick to learn /adapt to new procedures / situations - Able to communicate with contacts on varying levels (professionally) - Full driving licence - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office inc.
