Job Title:		Economist - Senior Consultant

Description:		Economist - Senior Consultant - Oxfordshire, Oxon, Thames Valley, Oxfordshire Our client, a leading Economics Consultancy, is looking for economists at Senior Consultant level to join/lead teams working on policy and market analysis, competition policy, regulation, performance assessment, financial economics and corporate finance across a wide range of sectors including energy, transport, telecommunications, financial services and water. An excellent first degree (or equiv) is needed (ideally a MSc/PhD) and relevant post-graduate work experience. Languages are useful. As a Senior Consultant you will have extensive project management responsibilities; contribute to business development activities; demonstrate a high level of analytical and consulting skills; and be aware of client requirements and be client-focussed. You will often be line manager to other members of staff; and be involved in the interviewing, selection and management of interns. Salary will be negotiable depending on work background and qualifications but is unlikely to be a bar in attracting the right candidate.
