Business Development Manager / BDM / Sales Consultant – Intermediaries
Basic salary £25,000 - £36,000
Our client, an instantly recognisable brand name and market leader, sells Mortgages, Protection and General Insurance products to the Intermediary market through Key Relationships with IFA's, Mortgage Brokers, Estate Agents and Insurance Company representatives.
They are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to join their successful team.
In this role you will build and develop positive sales relationships with Intermediaries.
You will identify and build business opportunities to sell Mortgage and protection related products with our Intermediaries on a face-to-face basis.
Our clients Sales Consultants maintain face-to-face contact with customers and are supported via the telephone by a devoted team of Sales Development Consultants.
The ideal candidate will have
· Experience of working in a target driven, sales environment
· Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to develop long term relationships with customers
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and evidence of having developed these in both a telephone and face to face environment
· A working knowledge of the mortgage process in your organisation is essential
· Knowledge of Mortgage, Insurance and Protection products is essential.
· You will have a proven track record spotting opportunities to make cross sales and raise brokers / customers awareness of the product range you offer.
· Full UK driving licence is essential
Our client offers an excellent basic salary and benefits package including a laptop, mobile phone and car allowance.
