This role is to work either Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday.
Shifts are either 9-5, 10.30 - 18.30 or 12-8
THE ROLE: To work as part of a multi-skilled team handling inbound telephone calls. Managing general customer queries, ensuring that the customer receives a seamless service. Addressing all matters arising in a professional and efficient manner and resolving them as necessary. Provide administrative support to the departmental management team as required. To adhere to agreed working procedures and customer services standards at all times.
Handle inbound telephone calls from customers, business partners and third parties in a professional manner and ensuring, resolution of queries at first point of contact where possible.
Make some outbound telephone calls to customers, business partners and third parties, clarifying details with and/or providing information to those parties, in a courteous and professional manner.
Build and maintain relationships with the appropriate personnel at the company and business partner companies and other third party organisations as necessary.
Ensure awareness of and adherence to expected individual and departmental standards and regulatory requirements at all times, identifying possible deficiencies in working methods and procedures and recommending improvements where appropriate.
Assist in the training and development (mentoring) of new staff when required.
Assist management at all times by undertaking any other duties that may be required from time to time.
THE CANDIDATE: Essential
Possess excellent telephone and communication skills, together with the ability to empathise with and reassure customers at all times.
Must be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a positive approach to handling and resolving customer enquiries.
Possess the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-skilled team with strong emphasis on delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Desirable
Have a proven track record in a customer service environment, including PC and keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of Word.
Possess excellent administrative and time management skills.
