Job Title:		Group Financial Controller

Description:		Group Financial Controller - England, UK Group Finance Controller urgently required for leading airline company located near Heathrow airport. Heading up the Finance department within this vibrant and friendly company . You will be in a similar role or looking for a new challenge within a large global company. The department is new so this role will suit someone with a proven record and developing teams and implementing new procedures. Day to day duties include consolidation of group services results and presentation to the board. Overseeing preparation of group services monthly management accounts. Preparation of half year and year end results, setting timetables, and ensuring compliance with given standards. You will be assisting with PLC compliance and keeping track of share options. The role will entail a detailed knowledge of tax, cash management, staff management and dealing with large mutli national companies. You will have 3-5 years PQE with a recognized accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA or ACA).Experienced in IFRS and UK GAAP reporting (preferably for a PLC)with a good knowledge of UK Corporations Tax and VA Previous staff management experience is desirable and relevant industry experience is ideal but not necessary.
