Job Title:		Assistant Accountant

Description:		Assistant Accountant - Merseyside, North West My client, one of the UK’s leading food companies with a range of well-known brands, is looking for a talented and ambitious individual to take on this challenging role within their flagship manufacturing site. The role is responsible for maintaining the financial controls on site and working closely with the FM to improve efficiencies across the finance function. You will have a broad remit which includes providing information to site management team to ensure budgetary control, complete responsibility for tracking of CAPEX projects, management and control of overhead costs, supervision of the Purchase Ledger function, analysis of key site expenditure and involvement in various projects. The role requires a highly motivated individual who can drive change and will thrive on the opportunity to make an impact on the business. This is an excellent career development opportunity as the intention is for this person to become a successor the site Finance Manager.
