Management Accountant - Suffolk, East Anglia
Required by our client to work within a small team to assist the Financial Controller in ensuring financial control and associated programme controls for the site lifecycle in order to deliver maximum value to the customer. The successful candidate will hold either a CIMA or ACA qualification. Good excel skills are essential. SAP experience desirable. Experienced in working with a contractor or project environment. Key tasks will be to assist with monitoring, review and audit of all financial procedures and policies. Conduct variance analysis and review of subsequent root cause analysis, expenditure, earned value and associated forecast. Preparation and verification of project proposals, especially economic appraisals and prioritisation to ensure projects are in line with the priority of the Near Term Work Plan. Temporary position to cover maternity leave for between 6/12 months. The successful candidate will be required to undergo security vetting procedures prior to taking up the position.
