Qualified Accountant, Leicester (to £28k).
Location: Meridian Business Park, Leicester, Leics.
Salary: £26 to 28k, package negotiable
The company:
Our client was founded in 1922 and over the years has undergone many changes and developments. It provides all the services you would expect of a firm of Chartered Accountants as well as offering business & IT Consultancy. They are now looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join their team.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
a) Plan and complete Audit and Accounts assignments in accordance with the firm's internal standards to ensure that clients meet their statutory objectives in a timely manner.
b) Plan and complete SAR Audits for solicitors in accordance with the firm's internal standards to enable the clients to meet their statutory requirements.
c) To undertake relevant CPD during the course of a year, and other external training as necessary as necessary to maintain personal professional qualification.
d) Undertake specific audit and corporate finance assignments in accordance with the firm's standards to ensure clients meet their statutory objectives.
e)Assist audit compliance partner in the firm's requirement to maintain quality control standards through regular cold reviews of selected files.
The successful candidate must:
a) Be qualified ACCA or ACA
b) Have 2+ years experience working in an accountancy practice.
c) Have sound accounts preparation skills.
d) Have knowledge of Sage Line 50.
e) Audit experience required
