A leading retail organisation is seeking a pensions specialist to ensure the maintenance of a cost effective and competitive pensions provision across the group.
You will primarily be responsible for monitoring external tends in pensions schemes and legislation, implementing pensions policies across the group and appointing external advisers ensuring the quality of work.
You will handle aspects of mergers & acquisitions, taking into account potential risks and liabilities alongside developing the investment strategy and working with internal and external teams to ensure pensions disclosure information is accurate and timely.
To be considered, you must demonstrate experience of managing significant changes to pension provision, experience of managing both Defined Benefits and Defined Contribution pension schemes alongside the ability to plan and implement major pension projects.
Additionally you will possess membership of the Pensions Management Institute, Knowledge of accounting principles in relation to pension schemes and an understanding of the pensions environment outside the UK, particularly ROI.
