Job Title:		Manager Planning and Performance

Description:		Manager Planning and Performance - West Sussex You will be responsible for delivering a robust corporate planning and performance framework throughout the company. You will have an extensive background in planning and performance at an organisational level preferably within in a young organisation is highly desirable. You will lead the planning and performance team and work closely with the business leader and executive team to deliver your objectives. Management and collaboration with key internal stakeholders, such as finance and HR, will be very important. External stakeholders will need to be consulted and proactively managed. Essential qualities and experience • Planning in a management role with an up-to-date knowledge of ‘best practice’ planning and performance methodologies and tools • Experience of developing and implementing performance metrics • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration experience and knowledge • Extensive experience of producing high quality written reports, management information and of performance metric reporting • Knowledge of continuous improvement and project management methodologies, e.g. PRINCE2 • Familiarity with activity and resource allocation models • Highly computer-literate – comfortable with spreadsheet and database design and manipulation • Credible and effective team building and leadership skills • Knowledge of public sector organisations and the added complexities of planning and performance measurement in this environment would be a distinct advantage Only candidates who have the essential qualities and experience will be considered Key words Planning, performance management, “best practice” “stakeholder management”, PRINCE2 SLS Services Ltd operates & advertises as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for contract/temporary positions.
