An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Advisor/Financial Modeller based in London with some UK travel.
The financial analyst role is part of our client’s Commercial team, where you will assist and support the sales teams on development of bids for new projects – ensuring that new business is secured on both financially and commercially sound terms.
Being a well informed and commercially astute business advisor, you must be able to contribute to the assessment of proposals and the development of supported business decisions.
Key dimensions of the role include the following:-
• Build and populate financial models to support bid appraisal and strategic finance assignments
• Consolidate different streams of information into one business case proposal by way of a financial model
• Present key findings and conclusions to team members and senior management to support key decisions
• Support other projects within the Commercial team on an ad hoc basis including market/competitor analysis
The role will include occasional presentations to the Executive Board, a strong relationship with the Commercial team, Bid/Sales teams.
Applicants must have very strong MS Excel skills.
