Job Title:Contract Surface Mount Technician
Description:Contract Surface Mount Technician - Midlands, West Midlands A position exists for a technician on a 3 month (Plus) contract, ensuring smooth operation of various areas of shop floor plant & equipment. Main Duties: * Carrying out and recording of routine maintenance at specified times * Involvement in continuous improvement teams * Attending daily quality reviews * Identifying and procuring of equipment spares and maintaining stocks of spares * Liaising with all levels of staff and management Skills & Characteristics: * Applicants should hold a formal City & Guilds qualification * Be able to demonstrate experience on similar equipment as a technician or engineer in manufacturing or in a similar role. * Computer knowledge and experience is vital for the individual to repair plant equipment * Fault finding skills
