Spares Technician - Weybridge, Surrey
An exciting opportunity exists to provide a totally flexible and effective 24 hour, 365 days spares storage and distribution service, world-wide, which supports our prestigious Aerospace/Defence Client and third party demands in the most cost effective way possible.
This position reports to the Team Leader and the incumbents tasks will be:
Ensure that all spare parts are stored in accordance with airworthiness regulatory guidelines.
To expedite spare part orders, packed to ATA requirements to meet customers own demands in a timely manner.
To ensure that all hazardous goods are packed & despatched in accordance with IATA and UNICAO regulations with correct certification to enable goods to be shipped world-wide.
To ensure that all tasks and actions are completed in line with Company procedures, ISO requirements, EASA and CAA requirements.
To ensure Company Health & Safety requirements are adhered to whilst carrying out day to day tasks.
To operate within a totally flexible workforce which enables the business to discharge its responsibilities 24 hours, 365 days.
Full training will be given and there will be a 3 month probation period.
Knowledge & experience required
Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, internally & externally.
PC literate
Total flexibility across business unit
Hold appropriate licences/certificates/approvals to facilitate the discharge of all warehouse operations.
To be able to design and manufacture appropriate packaging to enable safe despatch of spares.
SAP experience and forklift license are desirable
