Management Accountant / Financial Accountant (CIMA / ACCA)

Our client is an information security company, delivering Secure Content Compliance solutions. A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, their Secure Content Compliance software is used by over one million users in 65 countries. They now need an experienced Management Accountant to work in their fast paced office environment.
The Management Accountant will maintain the purchase ledger, produce KPI reports and cash flow reports; and be responsible for the renewal invoices, cash posting and updating the CRM.
With your extensive accounting experience, as the Management Accountant you will be accountable for: Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, VAT returns, Financial Reporting, Compliance and the Accounting System.
The Management Accountant will carry out the following duties:
- Revenue Reporting and Reconciliation: Weekly revenue bookings and product reporting, monthly reconciliation with revenue held in Customer Relationship Management system and EMEA Sales Invoice generation
- Expense Analysis: Detailed review of credit card and employee expenses, deferred income recognition
- Nominal Ledger Control Accounts: Inter-company reconciliation, Balance Sheet accounts and maintenance and reconciliation
- Payroll: Monthly payroll preparation, liaising with Inland Revenue
- Management Accounts/Compliance: Continuous improvement of business models used to provide management accounting information
- Year-end audit file preparation
Essential to your success you will have extensive experience of accounting and Professional Accounting studies. With your knowledge of the Statutory and Regulatory Accounting Framework, you will have a working knowledge of the following software: Sage Payroll, MS Office (including advanced Excel), and MS Great Plains. Knowledge of CRM is desirable.
You will be a graduate in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent) and/or part qualified CIMA / ACCA. With your excellent verbal and written communication, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
With your willingness to take initiative and working in a self-directed manner, you will be dependable, organised, detail orientated and resourceful.
