Job Title:		Bookkeeper

Description:		Bookkeeper - Reading, Berkshire An immediate vacancy has arisen for a Bookkeeper. Our client, one of the leading retail companies in the Berkshire area, requires a Bookkeeper with good communication skills to join their friendly team. Your day-to-day duties will include: ? Raising claims and checking invoices as they come in ? Producing payment schedules ? Processing weekly payroll for approximately 30 people including starters and leavers ? Processing sales ledger including posting payments ? Handling credit control including chasing payments over the phone ? Producing monthly accounts to trial balance on the general ledger It is essential that you have accounts payable experience and have handled the general ledger through to trial balance. It is desirable that you have some credit control and sales ledger experience. It is equally desirable that you have experience using Pegasus, good communication skills and can be tactful when talking to customers.
