unity has arisen within a specialist medical clinic at London Bridge Hospital (opposite London Bridge Station) for a Full-time Accounts Manager to join the clinic and provide services and advice for both the business and its clients. The clinic was established in 2000 and provides treatment to private patients.
The successful candidate will have an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage software. The appointee will report directly to the Directors. There are two main responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping and Accounts: maintaining accounting records, double entry bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, preparing staff salaries and payroll under PAYE (6 staff), liaising with accountants and inland revenue, preparing monthly financial reports to the directors, preparing year end trading figures for taxation purposes.
2. Financial Advice: The costs of private treatment are often too high to be met through current earnings and finance often has to be arranged. The successful candidate will be involved in discussing with patients the best method of arranging finance for their treatment given their financial circumstances.
The salary for this role is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience and benefits will include, after a three month probationary period, pension and private health insurance.
