Job Title:		Accounts Assistant

Description:		Accounts Assistant - Lancaster, Lancashire Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will involve a mix of tasks relating to both clients and the company. The tasks will include reconciling and reporting transactions processed on behalf of clients that include some of the UK’s leading players within the distribution, wholesale and retail sectors. The general tasks will include preparing and accounting for client transactions and preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports. In addition to this is the processing of company transactions and assisting with the compiling and reviewing of company product unit costs. You will need at least 3 years experience of working in an accounts department. You will be familiar with Access Accounts, Sage or a similar accounts package and have completed or be working towards completion of AAT of an equivalent.
