Over all purpose of the job
We provide bespoke insurance solutions for a wide range of unusual and complex insurance requirements and risks.
It is anticipated that our strong financial performance is likely to continue throughout 2007 and towards 2010 supported by maintaining a high level of business retention, growth in premium income emanating from the our regional offices in the UK where we are moving into the next exciting phase of our UK growth as it seeks to create a unique consumer Insurance brand.
To assist the Retail MI & Pricing team in developing, maintaining and distributing management information in particular the UK & European Retail KPI systems. Participating in business reviews and business planning with supporting ad hoc analysis.
Principle duties and responsibilities
Ad hoc reporting in support of the Retail MI & Pricing team
Produce reports to deadlines
Maintain reports, checking their accuracy and reasonableness
Recognise and research issues highlighted by reports
Develop new reports in suitable formats
Interpreting requirements of the business customer
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and personal requirements
Essential
Educated to degree level
Strong analytical reasoning skills
An aptitude for creative problem solving
Must have good all-round Computer skills with excellent Excel skills including the ability to programme using VBA and complex data manipulation.
Preferred
A level/degree in mathematical/statistical subject
Microsoft Access & VBA skills
Previous Insurance Industry experience
