Job Title:		Reconciliation & Process Improvement Accountant

Description:		Reconciliation & Process Improvement Accountant - Crawley, West Sussex My Client, a large Defence organisation based in Crawley are currently recruiting for a Reconciliation & Process Improvement Accountant to work on a 6 month contract (with the potential to go permanent) to start ASAP. A Part Qualified accountant/studier AAT/CIMA would be considered. If the role goes permanent there is possibility of study support. • Responsible for reconciliation, control & clearance of key supplier accounts across all Thales Operating Companies serviced within the Financial Shared Services Payables team (FSSP Team) the role would include. • Root cause analysis of recurring processing, accounting or reconciliation issues and provide recommendations and or actions to eliminate source issues. • Process improvement assessments across key payables-related processes and provide recommendations and or actions to enhance service delivery and eliminate process risk. • To maintain and deliver written action plans and management updates on all assigned reconciliation, root cause and process improvement tasks/projects The ideal candidate • Detailed knowledge and experience of reconciliation production and clearance – balance sheet, inter-company and 3rd party suppliers. • Ability to investigate and resolve complex issues with staff up to director level. • Proficient in delivering written and verbal communications • An advanced level of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook would be advantageous • Extensive experience of ERP systems would also be beneficial • They should be an experienced HR professional and the relevant CIPD qualifications would be beneficial. Successful applicants may be required to undergo Security Clearance prior to appointment.
