Job Title:Tax Assistant
Description:Our client is one of the leading independent firms of Chartered Accountants in Hampshire. The firm is based in Chandlers Ford, near Southampton. Our client is looking to recruit a full time Tax Assistant. The role comes with study support for the ATT Qualification, presenting great opportunities for career progression within a leading firm. Duties Will include: Obtaining relevant tax information from clients Completion of tax returns and accounts Computation of tax liabilities Preparation of client letters Associated tax administration Calculation and monitoring of fees Ensuring all work completed clearly and concisely Identifying and reporting any issues that prevent timely and accurate completion Developing a strong understanding of the business and services The ideal candidate will have:- Educated to at least A level standard Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Applications Excellent communication skills both written and verbal High level of attention to detail The ideal candidate should be:- Wishing to qualify with Association of Tax Technicians - Study support will be provided Aiming towards client relationship responsibility Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Able to work as part of a team Able to recognise and balance the requirements of both clients and managers
