The Opportunity:
Our client is looking to recruit a full time Accounts Senior. The role comes with the opportunity for a self-motivated ambitious individual to grow client portfolio size and progress to management level in this dynamic chartered accountancy firm.
Overview of the Role:
The purpose of the appointment is to recruit an accounts senior who will provide the firm’s clients with an efficient and effective service through the control and efficient use of both Business Services Group resources and liaison with other departments.
Duties:
Arranging timetables, staff, planning reviews and completion of accounting and other assignments.
Review of drafts prior to meeting with clients or Client Relationship Manager.
Identification of issues and resolution.
Ensuring client work completed within time and cost parameters.
Maintaining appropriate balance between commerciality of client and firm, accounting standards and risk in the work itself.
Ensuring that all clients receive an efficient and proactive service.
Completing assessment forms and giving feedback to staff on all audits.
Liaison with other departments to ensure that service expectations being achieved and vice-versa
Maintaining continuous professional development through technical reading and appropriate in-house/external training
Applicants must have:
ACA/ACCA – either newly qualified or qualified by experience
Practice experience
Good working knowledge of accounting and technical application to individual clients
Outstanding organisational skills
Ability to match staff skills to assignments
Excellent communication skills at all levels
