We are a vibrant £200 million manufacturing business, part of the leading global manufacturer of wood panel & laminate products. As a progressive business we are constantly looking to identify new talent to help drive our various business functions. Our busy Finance team is instrumental in the controlled, profitable operation of the plant, and we are now looking to strengthen the team with this key appointment.
Assistant To The Finance Director

We seek a high-calibre financial accountant to provide assistance to our Finance Director across a broad range of responsibilities, and deputise in his absence. Your exposure will be broad and encompass involvement with our accounting control systems, statutory and management accounts, internal audit, and the efficient management of company insurances. You will also have significant legal and compliance responsibility to include dispute resolution and involvement with government bodies and regulatory authorities.
We are keen to consider people from a range of backgrounds, but ideally seek a qualified ACA candidate, probably with at least 5 years plus PQE. Some wider compliance experience would obviously be of interest, for example some exposure to company secretarial duties, as would some form of legal training. However, you must be able to demonstrate some previous practical experience within an industrial plant and therefore have a real insight into the type of issues within a complex, 24/7/365 manufacturing environment.
